Fir Tree Chalet
Overview
Fir Tree Chalet is registered with the States of Guernsey Tourist Board and is classified as Three Stars. This unit is let from Saturday to Saturday with check in being after 2pm and check out before 10am.
Location
The chalet is located in a rural area on the west coast of the island with the longest beach, Vazon, only a minute’s walk away. The location is quiet yet still convenient for all the facilities and amenities that the island has to offer. Situated near the main house, the chalet overlooks the garden and the open country beyond. There is a car parking space just outside the chalet.
Lobby
A lobby leads from the front door into the lounge. There are coat hooks and sufficient space for outdoor shoes to be stored.
Lounge/diner
The lounge/diner has an open plan kitchen, dining table and chairs at one end and at the other end a settee, coffee table, flatscreen TV and radio with CD player. The settee converts to a double bed when 3 or 4 people are staying.
On the right of the dining area is a walk-in cupboard where linen, duvet and pillows for the sofa bed are stored. There is also an iron and ironing board, a broom and a clothes airer in the cupboard.
French windows at the lounge end open out onto a small patio with a bistro table and chairs. This patio overlooks the chalet’s garden, the main garden and the adjacent open countryside.
Kitchen
Off the dining area is an open plan kitchen with grey cupboards and hard surface, electric oven and hob, microwave, extractor hood, fridge, sink unit and dishwasher. Cutlery, glasses, crockery, cooking utensils and kitchen ware are provided.
Shower room
A short corridor leads from the dining area to the fully tiled shower room which is fitted with a toilet, H & C hand basin, and a shower cubicle. Towels are provided.
Bedroom
The bedroom is off the lounge and contains a king size bed, a double wardrobe, large chest of drawers and bedside tables. Bed linen and duvets are provided.
Facilities
Free WiFi is available.
Heating is provided by a modern electric heaters in the kitchen lounge and bedroom.
The chalet has laminate flooring except for shower room which has tiled floor and the bedroom which is carpeted.
The chalet has its own garden. There is a set picnic table in the chalet garden for you to be able to enjoy the rural scenery at lunch or dinner time.
There is a washing machine and tumble dryer located in the garage, available 24 hours a day, for use by guests staying in either the chalet or the cottage. On fine days there is a rotary clothes dryer available in the garden with pegs supplied.
